I'm yet to sit mine but have never done a SJT before how did you find it haha and also was the maths hard? Also would assume if you got high on most then hopefully it will balance out. Best of luck.

Hey, just to share my experience - I wouldn’t worry at all. I had never done Amberjack before and I’m bad at maths. But I found it actually fairly easy! I think the test is much easier than the other SJT test (that I can’t remember the name of) other firms use. There is also no VI question which is nice

Just remembered I’m going to have to do maths in an Amberjack soon 💔

Me when I see maths questions in an amberjack test knowing I’m gna spend 20 mins calculating the answer only to get it wrong and be forced to spend another 10 mins to get the right one:

Does anyone know how the mishcon consider the SJT? I got a high in numerical and verbal and all 3 competencies but quite low on grit so not sure how I did overall.

hmm we arent sure what the pass mark is, someone got high verbal and numerical and got invited to AC. they got 21/36 for the amberjack pillars aswell

Did you also attach a school transcript to your application? My secondary school didn't offer transcripts so I'm not really sure what to do haha. Thank you for your help btw!

There was one test (I can't remember which, but one of the ones I did (maybe M&R, but I could be mistaken - I took the test a couple weeks back, so it could have been multiple ones), my answers were slightly off - a rounding error, either in the working or in the final answer. It was untimed, so I did them multiple times, getting the same answer (I got good maths grades at GCSE, A-level and Uni modules). In the end, I realised it was a small mistake in the answers (most people would have just clicked through, for some reason, I was stubborn, trying to get the exact answer). But it definitely was a mistake on their end, which I find ironic for a law firm.
