Bit of a random one....
I have a vac scheme offer from a firm which means that if I get offered a place on slaughters' vac scheme I could only do 1 out of their 2 schemes (they run two diff ones over summer). In the initial email inviting me to interview, Slaughters said to let them know if we receive vac scheme offers from another firm or if we need to know sooner for any other reason.
Technically I don't need an expedited response, I just need to be put on the second scheme if successful.
I'm a bit paranoid that explaining this will somehow prejudice me and could just be an easy rejection or something - was wondering if anyone had any thoughts / similar experiences!

Do we think that mishcon summer acs might be out soon then now that they appear to be done w spring, or is it gonna be more weeks of waiting

I think they've sent out a few rejections for Summer but no one's received invites yet. Grad rec did mention on the Paul, Weiss thread on Jan 30 that they will be reviewing applications and sending out decisions "over the next few weeks" so I assume we will hear back soon re AC invites
I think some people have gotten one’s for winter a while ago and now it’s just spring. Had my ac next week and they said they aim to get back to all candidates by the end of this week!
This may be a stupid question, but do firm keep waitlists in case people drop out of ACs or in case people underperform? They usually send more AC invites than they offer TCs so I was thinking probably the former? I'm currently a bit cooked with most of my apps so I'm trying to make some delusional calculations of my odds where I can still cling onto a tiny bit of hope lmao
I just did mine and ngl this was probs the worst TI I’ve done so far so I’m alr assuming a PFO.

Apparently Mishcon is gonna be the second most hatred firm after Fieldfisher, would you all blacklist them for the next cycle?
This is hopefully the last cycle, but I don’t think I have the luxury to black list haha

does cleary have a CV interview before the AC? I thought it was straight to AC after WGT
