WBD received about 2000 applications for the DTC. 100 were invited for phone interviews. The assessment centre will be virtual to increase accessibility.

5 months since I applied to Gibson Dunn. The ghosting feels personal tbh. I was also ghosted last cycle too. Why review apps on a rolling basis but ignore those who apply early.

S&M DTC PFO the wording of the email "unfortunately it is not possible for us to interview every candidate who applies" does this mean they didn't read my app???!!

This one hurts since I interviewed for their Summer Scheme last year and was encouraged to apply to DTC this year.

100 from 2000 based on the 5 min quiz is nuts i wonder what the criteria was

Do you know any more firms that allow virtual AC? I know another one like OC, I didn't apply both.

Not off the top of my head.

It is also a cost saving measure, of course. There are no travel expenses to pay. But because WBD is a very regionally dispersed firm, it makes sense. Although London and US based, they have UK offices as far apart as Plymouth and Edinburgh.

I prepared carefully, including speaking to a paralegal I know who worked there (he's doing a pupillage now), and getting in touch with one of their clients who I know through work.
