wow i’m shocked they’re already doing ACs. i thought it would happen in late dec/early jan
Did their apps not close four days ago and they are non-rolling? How can the AC's already be running?
I'm not sure haha, my friend's circumstances are a little different though, so maybe they made an exception. Either way I wouldn't fret, it doesn't sound like the majority have heard back yet for them anyways

i wrote about starting a venture capital firm focused on nice luxury jewellery brands with an esg focus lol i hope they enjoy reading about that
love that haha...and sorry I read ESG as egg and was a little confused but interested that a jewellery brand was focused on easter egg collections 😂 I think I need to sleep HAHA, but I love how niche your idea is!

For Paul, Weiss application question 'How do your extra-curricular activities align with a career at Paul, Weiss?', if 'extra-curricular activities' here only includ activities, hobbies, positions of responsibility etc. Can I put work experience here to demonstrate skills. Thanks

For those of you who have taken the nrf test, what ridiculous games did it involve?
Is it better to do it on a phone or laptop?
best advice is to watch the video on youtube explaining the diff types of games, and if you go into the interface of the NRF test, you'll see which games there are. I would personally do it on the laptop just cause it says to use the q and p keys, and personally I think a bigger screen helps. Best of luck and don't flunk it like I did! 😭

I would say definitely stick to positions of responsibility that you did outside of study/work - this has been the advise that I've received from multiple grad recruiters

I think I remember you had an earlier post talking about struggling with the emotion recognition bit, in which case I would say to primarily pay attention to the brow/eyebrows, lips, and how they all are relative to the eyes.

Idk if it would help but an idea that's occurred to me (I haven't tried this myself) is maybe looking at your standard emojis for different expressions and it gives you a sense of what to look for in a person's face to recognise the emotion/expression. Arctic Shores is a bit extra tricky with imo really noticeably artificial faces and like 6-8 (I can't remember how many) options to pick from.

    Also definitely personally recommend laptop.

It depends what the work experience is. positions of responsibility - university/work society position, volunteering, reservist etc these would be great to include. if you were a waiter at a cafe and undertook a new responsibility such as promoting the cafe via social media showing your entrepreneurial, leadership and networking skills. It is all about how you phrase your experience. Is there anything you are interested in? train spotting, bird watching, football or travelling these can all be put in this section under hobbies.
