I'm glad that my journey with Freshfields is over. Whilst waiting, I learned a lot about the firm, particularly about the low conversion rate and some not so great rumours that I won't mention (but you're free to google them). I begged them to reject me so I can move on and they delivered! Can't be mad at what I asked for

Does anyone have any insights to how to read Reed Smith’s VI report? I feel like I did awful, none of them are low but they are showing to be around 8/10 or 7/10 across their 4 areas!! Any insights would be helpful guys!!

You're not..the report after the VI is for the amberjack online assessment. The VI is likely assessed on the pillars too but the scores aren't for the VI because grad rec at RS are the ones who review the VIs, not externally.

You get a VI feedback report if you are rejected.

It really depends on the firm, some firms don’t make decisions or review candidates until all ACs have been completed. If they fill the spaces as the ACs go on, then yes because naturally it becomes more competitive as there’s less spaces available

@llblawstudent I agree with the above, it’s hard to say if there’s a disadvantage as if really depends on their approach to shortlisting. To be safe, I’d always aim for somewhere in the middle if I was given the choice.
