For the Dechert Winter VS I applied quite early and didn't get the WE for ages. My friend who applied far later got it before meI havent heard back from Dechert either (applied 28 Nov) and tbh am crushed about it. I felt it was my best application by far. Anyone know if there's a teensy tiny possibility they'll continue sending out WEs...?
I got TI for both AG and DLA manchesterHas anyone heard back from the following:
Addleshaw Goddard Manchester post-app
DLA Piper Manchester post-WG
Willkie post-VI
I’m not sure if they’ve even responded to anyone with an interview I think they’ve only sent PFOs so farCan I still expect to hear good news from Perkins given they said that HR screening interviews will be commencing between 19-30th Jan?
I’ve had the same issues with A Levels, I had quite severe mitigating circumstances and it seems like firms don’t care despite the fact I’ve got 10/12 1sts in modules during my degree so far, and 2/12 2:1s..Hey guys, how do you keep going? I have 3 more applications I want to finish, but right now, I feel like I will never get that training contract. I am just really burned out and the onslaught of former classmates qualifying or receiving their training contracts is not helping. I have done some vacation schemes but in the last year and (as it is looking right now) this year: nothing. I am definitely moving backwards as the number of candidates increases. Tbh I regret not deferring my degree during the pandemic, because that would probably have saved my grades. Firms seem to not really consider extenuating circumstances.
Any advice?
I haven't heard back either - applied 28th DecemberCan I still expect to hear good news from Perkins given they said that HR screening interviews will be commencing between 19-30th Jan?
If this is for DLA I know some people on my vac scheme a couple years ago mentioned originally being on a waitlist! I also got a VS very close to the start date for a smaller US firm last year after being on a waitlist. People sometimes drop out after getting offers post spring schemes/DTC applications or even getting other summer schemes they prefer, so I’d say you still have a chance, but unfortunately no guaranteeWhat's the likelihood of receiving a VS offer after being placed 'on hold' following the AC? Has anyone had experience with something like this previously?
I agree I think it’s a joke. Why did bakers say we would hear in the next two weeks but given no response ? Is it likely they have not assessed all VIs by now?
If it helps, a couple years ago I heard back on 27th June for initial screening between 1st - 17th JulyCan I still expect to hear good news from Perkins given they said that HR screening interviews will be commencing between 19-30th Jan?
