Just did the Baker McKenzie SJT, got a 3 on the "digital mindset". Am I cooked

I've literally studied modules (and done practical exams) in coding and building AI models - not quite sure how I managed to get 3 there. (Also got "excelled" in "Applied Verbal Intellect", and 7,7,6 in the other 3 sections)

I got the exact same number of points as you. Got 4766 and excelled. I got VI. You’re sweet.

Does Osborne Clarke have two tests?
I have just submitted my application and got the shl link but that email says:

We would not recommend that you complete the two tests back to back so please bear this in mind when deciding when to sit them.

Does that one link contain both tests?

Land Law exam on 21 Jan followed by AC/Interviews on 23,25, and 27 welp

God sounds like a nightmare. I can take a couple of those ACs off your hands if you want.

It shouldn’t matter too much for most firms with the exception of maybe Slaughters, Cleary, Davis Polk and SullCrom who want high 2:1s.

I have a few 2:2 modules but mostly strong 2:1 and 1st’s and have gotten past app stage with Akin, Willkie, Skadden, Weil and Gibson Dunn.

I went to a northern RG (not Durham or Warwick) and so far I’ve had decent results. I think firms look at things holistically tbf.

Peak because I just noticed one of my top choices, Farrer and co, specifically wants a high 2:1... I went to their insight day, so hoping that gives me some brownie points

What counts as a high 2:1? Would it be 65+ or 68+

Just chiming in I progressed to selective stage 2 of Cleary despite a very low 2:1 and not meeting the minimum A-levels....so some firms do operate holistically, no point agonising over what's a good 2:1

is anybody else like so bad at video interviews. I literally freak and start crumbling under pressure. I've mooted in front of a Lord Justice, I do theatre!! But ask me a question and have me monologue for 2 mins ... no fanks

A handful of people got AC invites yesterday afternoon. I didn't, so I'm going to assume PFO. For the WE invites at least, they did it all in one wave. Don't know if ACs are the same.

I crashed out at Clyde & Co. Can’t even submit it because I just stopped mid way through and laughed. It was effectively SJT interview but framed within a broader case study so I got confused and thought I had to use information from the case study (when I think basic stuff is actually all you need)! So yeah I just stopped and laughed because I found it so hard. And then there was 30 seconds of silence. lol
