The Bristows VI seems to be a very mysterious process.

It’s not mysterious per se. Just that they send VI invites in one batch, so everyone is doing it now and no one’s going to provide insights to their direct competition. It’s already been said that you get 15 seconds prep time and 60 to 90 seconds answer time depending on the question.

Has anyone heard back from these firms - Fieldfisher (post telephone interview), Travers Smith and Browne Jacobson? I am a little concerned as I thought my telephone interview with Fieldfisher went well and would hear back regarding AC start of this month but got no reply yet. The other 2 firms I have not heard back since I submitted my application lol

Just wondering, to build rapport in an interview would you ask the interviewer questions *during* the interview? Eg if they asked you about a time you overcame a challenge, and you mirror it back to them in a natural way, is that fine?
