Has anyone heard back from these firms - Fieldfisher (post telephone interview), Travers Smith and Browne Jacobson? I am a little concerned as I thought my telephone interview with Fieldfisher went well and would hear back regarding AC start of this month but got no reply yet. The other 2 firms I have not heard back since I submitted my application lol
Hi, I think Browne Jacobson probably won’t get back until after the deadline. For Fieldfisher when did u apply? I made the initial application on the deadline and haven’t heard back since

A week ago today! was not expecting to hear back so soon at all
I also just realised what your username is🤣 You certainly attacked for that vac scheme and succeeded. Fingers crossed for you that the TC will be secured🤞🏻

Anyone applied to these firms, would love some insights:

Browne Jacobson
Boodle Hatfield
Glaisyers ETL
Capsticks
VWV
Joelson
Gide Loyrette Nouel
Howes Percival
Lockton?

Can't search more other than their websites, it's not on legal cheek firm's most list directory
Hi made it to the presentation stage with Gide last year so happy to help if I can ;)

@Adnanlone the short answer is no. Any legal experience, regardless of location is beneficial. In fact, at times international experience could actually be seen as a bonus, so think about how the chance to gain some exposure internationally has actually contributed to your understanding of commercial law for global businesses. Even reading your post makes me a little excited.... I'm intrigued!
Thank you for the prompt response! @Afraz Akhtar So sorry to perturb you once more, I also wanted to ask if international students like myself are at a bit of a disadvantage owing to the ambiguous immigration rules currently. I know Goldman and PWC did not hire a single international this cycle :(

Quick q: on AllHires, if you’re currently in a role what do you put in the “to” date in the work experience section? Not sure if I’ve been doing it wrong this whole time.
I’ve been putting the end date of the job role so say if it’s set to end in July 2026, I’ve just put it down as that and haven’t rly had any issues. I think I saw Afraz mention yous can put today’s date to signal to grad rec that it’s a current position? Either is fine tbf. Do what works for you!
