I just knew that I was going to hear back from a firm today
inbox no longer dry
I think with Latham, theyre waiting for people to finish VI's? I think today is the last day for people to submit. So hopefully next week we hear back!! Also can I ask what you got on ur feedback report for Freshfields?haha don't be sorry, I was expecting it since I wasn't progressed onto stage 2 for ages 🤣 at least they're faster in rejecting than Hogan and Latham man
haha no, they haven't progressed me onto stage 2 lol. So it's the same situation as Freshfields. I think cappfinity and I have beef guys 😭 I cannot, all the cappfinities I do never turn out rightI think with Latham, theyre waiting for people to finish VI's? so true. praying for us nonetheless!!Same here lmao, idk what’s going on atp. It’s like my brains only activates AFTER I’ve submitted my app and only then will I spot 13849 mistakes and my app reads like it’s the most generic thing in all of human history… Just have to hope for the best in these circumstances I guess. 🫤
my vantage decided at crunch time to send me error messages and basically stop functioning🤣 wasn't meant to be!submitted my Goodwin app with only minutes to spare... that was terrifying but so exhilarating lmfao
@lawyersum Hi! So sorry about this. I suppose you had completed the TI? Thank you.ffs dla piper pfo after passing wg two weeks ago😭
yes 🤣🤣 found a double space after submissionAnyone else have that same sinking feeling when you read back an old app that you haven’t heard back from yet and notice a typo………ffs
Sorry to hear that
Sorry to hear about this. Honestly it takes a while to get used to cappfinity, sometimes the most obvious answers aren't always the right ones, like for e.g. telling the Partner immediately sounds reasonable but usually is the last resort or things like staying behind to finish the work (sounds obvious to do this) but may be looked at as inefficient use of time. It's really a hit or miss, because the feedback is shrouded in mystery and you can't really make out what you should do for the next time. I would say just putting yourself in the lens of a high-performing trainee who's trying to impress as much as possible and working as a team. Best of luck on your next try. urban dictionary has it listed down as being defined as far back as 2004, so I'm sure it's been a thing for a very long timerandom qs but when did "pfo" become a thing? i swear its only on TCLA ive never seen it on other forums lol
stage 1 lol so I was expecting itSorry to hear thatis that after stage 2 or stage 1?
That is why I no longer do this, out of sight out of mind 😔Anyone else have that same sinking feeling when you read back an old app that you haven’t heard back from yet and notice a typo………ffs
Thank you! And no need to be sorry haha it is what it is. Yea...it's confusing to me, and sometimes I don't know if firms look for the same traits or different ones - like how do I tailor my answers haha 😭Sorry to hear about this.
