TCLA Vacation Scheme Applications Discussion Thread 2025-26

Hey everyone! Happy New Year :)

One of my big goals this year is to 'redo' TCLA. All the content will stay, but I want to make it easier to use and build in tech around the community.

This applies to everything from easy access to law firms and real-time polling to find out when law firms get back to candidates, to a new system to log which law firms you are applying to/whether you've heard back directly in the forum.

But the best way I can understand how to make TCLA better is to speak to you. If you have any suggestions for making the TCLA forum better, anything you find hard to use at the moment, or any ideas for the future, you can now create a thread in our new suggestions forum. You can upvote these suggestions if you like them.

In the coming weeks, I'll also be running calls/focus groups to better understand your experience of the TCLA forum. If you'd be interested in talking through your experience in a quick call, you can fill out this form.

Thanks!

I have my Milbank ac in 3 days. What recent news events or trends in markets do you think I should be aware of going into this? I've been successful at ACs and interviews at international firms but this is my first US firm AC. So any advice would be super appreciated!!
Congrats! When did you hear about the AC? I applied, but had issues with the second stage, which meant I had to repeat it but heard nothing since?
