    simmons london vac scheme offer!!

i know lots of people are waiting to hear back still! i don't know how many acs are left but i know they are planning to run them throughout january and into feb, and there are 3/4 people per ac

i only got my ac invite 10 days before the actual ac and so the turnaround is very fast! hoping for good news for other people soon (or any news at this point!) :-D
Huge congrats! When did you do your AC?

Hi, I have been asked to provide an official copy of my post-16 education grades, it has to be emailed. what would this be? Is it the official certificates I received from each exam board or the piece of paper with all of my alevel grades and I just scan them?

I think a scan of the paper with your grades on will be fine as long as it is an official paper from your school/exam board

Some ppl missed HSF Kramer & Goodwin as they had any issues when submitting their app through Vantage, but they weren't allowed to submit after the deadline, I guess GR team won't compensate such a filthy mistake when there isn't high stake such as cloud service down or like TS, conflicting deadline.
    filthy mistake loll

has defo taught me the art of applying at least an hour before the deadline as opposed to a minute

Does anyone have advice on figuring out whether something a recruiter has sent you is a legit opportunity?

I have been reached out to by someone who is very clearly a legit recruiter (verified on LinkedIn, been around for ages), but something about the role just does not sit quite right with me.

I've had this before and it was an unpaid opportunity which required a lot of hours and work so check for things like that maybe? Also could ask questions for more info and check if the role is advertised elsewhere online

Are you sure the email came from that recruiter personally? I've heard instances of scammers impersonating known and credited recruiters (so when candidates search on LinkedIn, they will be reassured), but the email actually never came from the actual recruiter themselves.

Just tread with caution! and I agree with the person above, maybe see if the role is a legitimate role that's been advertised.

I agree with both of these, thank you! I cannot seem to find it advertised online which is a big sticking point, as well as the fact that it doesn't appear to require me to have done the SQE by the time the contract would start. Nothing seems legit apart from the recruiter haha, which is what is tripping me up. (For reference he messaged on LinkedIn where he has the recruiter verification thing and I can directly see his profile)
