Sorry for double post… am suddenly feeling quite stressed.

I think applying for DTC for those is a super smart decision (I'm doing the same). What's important to remember is that regardless of what happens, it's not a reflection on your ability. You can send out the exact same application for two firms and get rejected by one and accepted by another, it really is a luck game. From what i've found there are lots of applications still open, especially for US firms.

I wouldn't stress at all! Just remember that you've got this.

Hey guys, is it a bad sign if an interview lasts 50 minutes but they said it would last around an hour?

Hey!

I definitely wouldn't panic about this! The hour time slot will be a rough timing of how long it should take, and most people will likely run slightly over or under. In my Reed Smith DTC interview, I finished about 40 minutes into an interview that was scheduled for an hour, so I really wouldn't worry too much!

Hey if you dont mind me asking how long after the AC, did you recieve the offer call from CMS?

Hi I got my offer call 5 days later - did it on a Thursday and got the call Wednesday Morning. Worth noting I was the last AC of the London cohort though so probs why it was so quick!

Had my AC today. Interview and presentation went fab but just have a question on group presentation.

Unfortunately we were a group of 4 and one of the members took the timekeeper. She failed to keep the time and we didn’t get to finish. She dominated the whole group and didn’t let anyone else speak. Somehow I got my points in somehow but the other person ( I feel so bad for him, with ADHD) didn’t get his points across because she kept cutting him off.

What happens in this situation? Do you all fail the group presentation because of a member who failed to lead properly? 🤷🏼‍

Hi yes it is timed. It is more WG style (some of it reminded me of TW if you applied to them).
You have three minutes I think (or 2?) per set of three questions and you have 8 set of questions if I remember correctly. Did it last week so don't fully remember.
