I went through the NRF WVS AC in October and when they rejected me I wasn’t sent an email of rejection but an email to schedule a call for an ‘application update’ a week after they gave out offers and then they rejected me via the teams call. I was kind of annoyed as I would have preferred a rejection email and then be able to schedule a feedback call. Instead they left the email super vague but because of this forum I knew I was rejected so I was prepared but thought it was unnecessary.

Oh wow they must’ve changed their process, I had an actual rejection email for summer last year. I don’t think the vagueness is very fair

For women, what do you usually wear to an AC? I used to wear a suit but it's kinda oversized on me now

Was wondering if anyone has any advice for converting a VS to a TC, in a setting where you are assessed throughout.

I know the general speak to loads of people and be keen, but idek what im supposed to be asking when i speak to people LOL. Ive done a vac scheme before and did speak to loads of people about the practice area, so i will do that again but i think that isjust to show look i actually interacted with people. wondering if anyone has any advice beyond this on how to increase the chances of converting.

Mixed feelings as I feel like some of the firms I felt quite strongly about didn't progress me
