Hey I applied for DTC and got an email yesterday requesting for contextual info, did you get this as well?hey was this for the DTC
Have you booked the feedback call? I have - I think I know where I went wrong, but I want to find out if they noticed the things that I thought were bad, or if it's something different entirely.I got post-AC rejection for TLT & Walker Morris today. I really love & admire your attitude! It is highly motivating, and it does only take one yes, that is absolutely correct![]()
Links are an interesting one. Their holding email way back when said that it was ACs only in January and Feb (for Summer), but I emailed GR earlier this week asking about the status of my application (as it has been ages and I was in the 90+ percentile for WG), and they said they are still looking at applications. For Gibson Dunn and Dechert probably not worth waiting but I think for MoFo as they’ve only just began interviews it’s probs too early to assume a PFO. Not sure for Linklaters at all tbh.
same here, just got the emailRPC rejection post AC 🥲 this was my first in person AC, I learnt a lot, gonna keep on pushing!
Did it this Monday 23 Feb and got the invite Friday 27 FebAnd when did u get the invite?
Did you get a voice interview? Also applied for Leeds and haven’t heard
Don’t worry! Rejection is normal (I’m in the same boat so this is directed to me as well 😃). Defo a learning experience for sure thosame here, just got the email
Yepp I admire the positive attitude! I wasn't expecting an offer tbf because I knew I did badly in that one I just hope the feedback is usefulDon’t worry! Rejection is normal (I’m in the same boat so this is directed to me as well 😃). Defo a learning experience for sure tho
depends on the firm, what are your top firms? links require a 2:1 in every module, HSF i got through with two 2:2s with mit circs, clifford chance are a bit more lenient if you have a 2:1 overall - those are just my insights so far!guys I wanted to ask, how much do firms consider extenuating circumstances when it comes to individual module grades? I have a 2:1 and everything but I had genuine unfortunate circumstances which systematically impacted my time and studies at university. Am I safe to believe that top firms will understand that?
I’ve applied to a range of firms this year but I will say I avoided the US and magic circle firms, even though I would love to apply. I just feel like my application won’t stand out against people with very high 2:1s and 1sts. I did progress with a few firms this year, but if I need to reapply next app cycle, do I have a chance with say firms like Ashurst, travers smith, AG etc?depends on the firm, what are your top firms? links require a 2:1 in every module, HSF i got through with two 2:2s with mit circs, clifford chance are a bit more lenient if you have a 2:1 overall - those are just my insights so far!
Would you be able to DM me the written questions please!Rawdogging the BJ test with no insights, just vibes xx
Wish me luck 😍
