I volunteer my time with policy groups, read articles and watch webinars, like this one:
The facts tend to stay with me better if I can make a practical connection to my work, like committee roles, etc. and I'll also make flash cards and social media posts, when it seems appropriate - just to let the news sit with me in a more meaningful way.
Seems to be working, so far!
