Someone on here got an offer and I saw a LinkedIn post with an offer too. Could still be more to come I guess, but the scheme is in like 2 weeks so I don’t have much hope
Well the person who emailed me said that someone would be dealing with it soon and that she had forwarded my email to the person who was. A lady named Ellen.
Hi!a very random question, but what are you supposed to wear on a vac scheme as a woman? it’s not a suit every day is it?
edit: also, does anyone have any recs for places to get affordable office clothes
Totally understand this question as I had a few meltdowns about this, haha!
You definitely do not have to wear a suit everyday! Generally, I would aim to have a few pairs of smart trousers and some nice blouses/shirts, and that should be more than enough for the length of the scheme.
Personally, I would always wear a slightly more smart outfit on the first day (e.g. a shirt and blazer) so that you can adapt once you see the general dress code in the office. I also took a blazer everyday just incase, but I didn't necessarily wear it - it was just handy to have if you were invited to attend a client meeting, for example. I was told by some people last year to bring a pair of heels with you too, but I personally didn't do this and didn't have any issues on the schemes I was on (so I wouldn't worry if heels are not your thing!).
In terms of where to find office clothes, some of my best staples came from H&M and ASOS. I would also agree with others as I have found some great office clothes in charity shops too!

The long-awaited PFO is here. Feel a sense of peace.
Mishcon pfo has arrived. 7,7,6,7 in SJT. Quite disappointed over the whole chat based thing and SJT and what is weighted more. Anyways..we move on team 
SH is playing with my heart. I wrote a banging application, scored 7769 in the SJT, and did decent in the VI. I genuinely don’t know what the are looking for at this point 
Folks, I’m honoured to share that Mishcon de Reya has PFOd me. Honestly, the whole experience has just been such a blast. I’d like to thank my mum, my dog, and my friends. I never thought I’d get there, but it really is proof that you can never stop dreaming.
