why do you actually want to work in commercial law? (honest)

In all honesty, the first year salary was my initial reason. Then I realised that going into any type of law would enable me to (hopefully) make a positive difference to someone somewhere. I am most looking forward to the pro bono work that I may one day be able to take part in, but also the 'aha' moments where I find loopholes in a piece of law, and successfully advise a business on a transaction. This may just be a pipe dream though, because I am now in my third application cycle. :D
