i don’t think it can be. I spoke to grad recruitment and they said they’ll only look at direct tc apps after deadline

fact is that 99% of the people get PFOs (1% being those who apply to like 1 scheme and get an offer), even the BEST applicants - sometimes it's just that the firm doesn't think you'll fit to each other instead of seeing you as not good enough. The fact that you have an incoming interview is the best evidence that you're perfectly qualified and capable of making a good solicitor (not everyone gets interviews!). Now focus on the interview and seize it because you deserve that one and more opportunities.
The first AC? If so yes, heard back on Friday. I think there are some others still waiting though as a few people have asked.

For people who asked for an early response from Slaughters, how long did they take to get back to you?
Well in response to my spamming yes (not proud of it 😂). Not sure this only applies to my cohort of ACs from early Feb or if it's region-specific or anything (applied to Edinburgh)
