The page does suggest that if you let the chatbot do all other sections and did inferences you'd fair a lot better. But, I agree, I'd probably end up taking it the day the AI was malfunctioning and score in the 5th percentile

Inferences is the only section I can never guarantee 100% on.. maybe I am AI

I don't particularly understand why law firms do this because they miss out on recruiting potentially the best talent for the firm. Why set a deadline if the real deadline is a month before? Simmons might have missed out on someone who would have added real value to their firm so take your potential to the next app!

Sometimes firms get an unexpected increase in applications. It sounds like some firms (especially those with generous WFH set ups) have had an influx of applications this year, and it’s been difficult for them to manage the numbers compared to previous cycles.

For them, they may see it as they could potentially miss out on talent that applied earlier if they wait to assess everyone who comes through the process later.
