Alright, three rejections in a day. Disappointed but not surprised. Good news: fav band released an unheard song, so prolly will tune into that and sulk it over

We have now had the opportunity to review your Video Interview and after careful consideration we regret to advise that we are unable to offer you a place.



We understand that this will be disappointing news, but would like to stress that, by progressing to this stage, you were already in the top 40% of all applications received this year. However, unfortunately places at our Assessment Centre are limited, and the standard has been extremely high.



Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unable to provide individual feedback, however, please find attached a document which outlines some general feedback which we hope will be useful.

Reed Smith PFO - this is the second time I have done the VI and not progressed through to AC. Though, I feel like my video interviews are getting better with practice and more will hit the target if not in vacation scheme cycle then in TC direct cycle.

what’s the protocol on applying for a firm for TC who may have rejected you for VS in the same cycle - is it a complete waste of time?
asking re not sending the same application, but for e.g. if you have a ‘new’ VS or legal experience since your initial VS application

Some firms will not let you apply in the same cycle - they will say that on their website on the application page or in the FAQs
