In SJTs, some questions have a scale that we drag along and stop on where our answer is. Does it matter where in the scale we have specifically dragged too? Or does it only matter which side of the scale we are closest to? I hope that makes sense

Technically both matter and both will be what you will be assessed on.

For my Shoosmiths Application portal, I am now all of a sudden seeing TWO separate application reference numbers. One submitted as normal and another one as deadline passed. Anyone else having this problem?

Two. The first question (listing roles of responsibility, achievements etc) has a 250-word count but the second question, more specific to the TC role, doesn't.

Only if you do it persistently or if you are rude about it.

In these situations, the first question I get people to ask themselves is do you need to find out (eg so you can plan other things) or do you want to find out (for peace of mind). If the latter, I’d generally avoid asking if you can. If finding out influences other things you will do, then it is fine to ask.
