Hi guys, just to those who have been rejected by Freshfields, I emailed them yesterday asking for my WG test score and they responded with percentile this morning! I did way better than I thought but was still rejected :/
In regard to filling out your grades on application? are we allowed to convert it to % as this firm wants me to only upload %grades. However my university has a different aggregate system.
It’s a long time ago now, but there tended to be a good number of people recruited from the open days when I worked at the firm.
It was by no means a guarantee though - I saw enough open day attendees apply and unfortunately their application was not strong enough when translated to the personal statement format and when presented in a different way to the open day application.
The firm would generally look out for open day attendee’s applications though and hope to put them through, especially if they impressed at the open day itself, but there were no favours done - the individuals still had to meet the same benchmark as other candidates
