Just applied for NRF’s direct TC, despite getting rejected from their VS post games test last week lmao.

With the 30 month programme, you do your SQE during the training contract, so you would have between 2024 and 2025 to do the PGDL before starting.

Do Kennedys allow deferrals to the following year to finish a PGDL if you’ve dropped to part time due to full time working as a litigation assistant? Since Kennedys “sponsor” the PGDL fees would the firm reimburse the fees paid for the PGDL if you’ve already started?! Would this be the case even if a TC offer is made at the end of the first year of PGDL? Thanks

How do people on here compare Curtis Mallet-Prevost Colt & Mosle to other US law firms? Any thoughts or insights?

Genuinely very small in the UK. Uses a non-rotational TC on this basis as teams in London are tiny. See Jones Day for an idea of how this works in practice.

@Jessica Booker NRF requires "demonstrable legal work experience" for their direct TC. Do you think volunteering at Citizens Advice is sufficient? or are they looking for something more along the lines of a previous vacation scheme, paralegalling and so on.
