Is this for after the WG? When I filled the form I couldn't see any section for work experience.

Hey guys. I can see White & Case are advertising a direct TC to start in 2025 for those that are completing/have completed the LPC. Anyone know if this is rolling? The deadline shows as July.

Has anyone else applied to the BBC Level 7 Solicitors Apprenticeship? I did the VI and written question yesterday and have mixed feelings about how I did, so I was wondering what other people thought!

(P.S, please don't PM me asking about the questions. I always say I don't share the questions as I don't think it's fair for other candidates to go in blind while others have inside knowledge).

It's worth checking with graduate recruitment, but it's very likely that this will be non-rolling. They have historically said that they review direct training contract applications after the deadline. Furthermore, this is typically the case at most US-headquartered firms which offer direct training contract application routes. I would try your best to prepare a strong application together before submitting. Best of luck with the application!

Based on reviewing previous Kirkland applications, I don't think this is entirely necessary. Addressing the cover letter to Graduate Recruitment should be enough in terms of formatting.

That being said, I know Kirkland only look at direct training contract applications once they have had their vacation schemes and they do tend to fill the spaces from those schemes given their small intake - in some cycles they have made direct training contract offers to those who have applied through the vacation scheme route. This might be something you want to keep in mind when you decide which application route to take. Good luck with your application!

Their email bluntly said “VI will be sent on 12th dec if you meet the benchmark”. I believe if they have mentioned this without any ambiguity then they should ideally send it maybe later in the day (maybe between their lunch and closing time)

Or maybe all our applications are too strong so hence the confusion and delay

Can I apply for a VS if im a recent graduate, I assumed its only for 2nd years hece why Ive chosen the TC route.
