BBC Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship Written Task

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently been invited to complete the pre-assessment centre written task for the BBC. However, I’ve received very little information about what to expect. All I know is that I’ll have 5 hours to complete the task via HireVue, but I’m unsure of how to approach it.

Should I treat it like a case study, as one might in a typical assessment centre, or take a different approach? I've also been unable to find much information about this specific task online.

If anyone has experience with this or any tips, I’d greatly appreciate your insights. Thank you!!

I am in the same boat right now! It has been so difficult to find anything regarding the written assessment which to help me prep so I am unsure of how I should approach it. Wishing you the best!!

unfortunately can't help but i'm in the same boat, have either of you completed the task? trying to work out if I will need the full 6 hour time and how to fit that around a full time job!

Felt exactly this! I even resorted to bullet points and feel really bad about this

i used bullet points for my recommendations and actions, they are used sometimes in briefs and i have used them for my contract law assignments so dont feel bad!
