Just did HL WG. Sometimes I feel like I’ve nailed them and sometimes I don’t have a clue (today is the later). I’m so inconsistent. I hope I’ve passed because HL is in my top 3 for sure.

Unrelated but is their amberjack assessment automatic? They're one of my favourite firms so I'm going to apply, but I want to know how long after that I'll need to do the assessment haha

Hi I believe it is not automatic as I think I remember reading on their website that you'll get sent it if they like your application

Hmm, I think I’m going to avoid asking. I did that with LL and it just depressed me .

Think I’ll just wait for the PFO and deal with it all in one go!

CSR sent me an email explaining that they are working through placement schemes first and will get back to Direct TC candidates within the next month, anyone else get that email? If not - there's your update!

i think it is amberjack i cant remember where i read it/saw it (so dont quote me on that) but there is a definitely an assessment element added to their application process this year - sorry don't want to spread misleading info !! x

Idk just a guess but if I were Freshfields I'd wait until next week to send more AC invites. Enough time to see how many of the current AC cohort get offers, plus we'd get roughly the same amount of prep time.

Idk just a guess but if I were Freshfields I'd wait until next week to send more AC invites. Enough time to see how many of the current AC cohort get offers, plus we'd get roughly the same amount of prep time.

That's logical, just making me feel anxious since I did my WG Wednesday morning and saw someone else did the WG the same day and received an AC. But it's not a rejection yet...

I suspect there won't be another direct TC window, at least this year, due to their new Winter Vacation Scheme

You have no idea how much reading that relieved me I have built my resilience so much this cycle but this has been the most intense week!

I imagine they're probably sending them in batches, as there weren't any application questions. I can't imagine there was anything for them to assess in the app.

they interview around 90, for the TCs like that high of a number?
