I wouldn’t lose hope just yet. I understand how tough the wait can be. In the mean time, try doing fun and lighthearted things to distract yourself from the wait, or even spend time diversifying your application pool by researching into other firms.

Any idea on how many trainees Morgan Lewis takes through dtc?

The firm takes on roughly less than 10 trainees a year in total. I’ve quoted a section from one of TCLA’s threads titled “where firms recruit from”, which should provide more context. It seems they have a healthy direct TC intake as well.

I also want to stress the importance of not looking at numbers and just applying !!! You never know where a single application can go.

How many TCs do you need? I'd say just go for it. Obviously other firms could be priorities. Paul Hastings, White & Case etc. But if you like them apply.
