Hi!

I hadn't planned on applying for FieldFisher but after looking at the firm more I have decided I would like to apply. The deadline is on the 12th at midnight but it is a non-rolling deadline (I think it opened in October / September) and people have already received invitations for TI.

Could anyone offer any insight into whether it is still worth applying if people are already hearing back from the firm or would I be best served applying for a later deadline?

im wondering the same thing - any help would be apprreciated!

I applied to Bird & Bird last week (left it too late probs I know) and still haven't been sent the WG? Does anyone know why this might be/experienced the same?

Hi, if you wouldn’t mind, could you share your insights on Mayer Brown? I haven’t applied to Hogan Lovells, otherwise I would certainly have offered anything relevant in return.

As far as I'm aware Bird and Bird WG is not automatic, it's after application review, I got sent it about 2 weeks after applying.

HSF Kramer passed benchmark. Excellent in Delivery in outcomes, high in technical expertise and moderate in 4. Submitted app on deadline day!

I also got the rejection. I don’t think it was our application it think they were too lazy to progress anymore people. I did an audit and tax internship this summer and one of their main focuses is tax. I’ve passed initial app review, WG and VI every year I’ve applied.

Plenty of other firms out there keep your heads up.

Doubt a top law firm was 'too lazy.' More likely scenario is that there were better suited candidates for the role.
