I think they have an intial app review before sending WGs, my email said I had reached the next stage

CMS PFO post WG.. great way to start the week! Thought I may be progressing as I did the WG back in mid October and didn’t hear anything until now.

I also got the rejection. I don’t think it was our application it think they were too lazy to progress anymore people. I did an audit and tax internship this summer and one of their main focuses is tax. I’ve passed initial app review, WG and VI every year I’ve applied.

Plenty of other firms out there keep your heads up.

Yeah not to sound big headed but I agree completely. Also always been progressed. Should have applied Manchester ffs

Hi!

I hadn't planned on applying for FieldFisher but after looking at the firm more I have decided I would like to apply. The deadline is on the 12th at midnight but it is a non-rolling deadline (I think it opened in October / September) and people have already received invitations for TI.

Could anyone offer any insight into whether it is still worth applying if people are already hearing back from the firm or would I be best served applying for a later deadline?

Hi, if you wouldn’t mind, could you share your insights on Mayer Brown? I haven’t applied to Hogan Lovells, otherwise I would certainly have offered anything relevant in return.

As far as I'm aware Bird and Bird WG is not automatic, it's after application review, I got sent it about 2 weeks after applying.
