Hoping that not having heard from bates wells last week doesn’t mean it’s a rejection - my visa runs out in October so this cycle is my last shot! Fingers crossed for this week.
Best of luck!Hoping that not having heard from bates wells last week doesn’t mean it’s a rejection - my visa runs out in October so this cycle is my last shot! Fingers crossed for this week.
Thank you so much!@HauntingPiccolo personally, I don't think being off by a few weeks is a big enough deal to rescind any job offer, let alone a TC. I think I'm always off for mine, because truthfully, I don't know when I stopped flipping pancakes at selfridges, I just know it was before Christmas 2020.
So don't worry. As long as you get the company and job role correct, being off by a few weeks isn't really a concern. You are good. Congrats on the TC!
If it helps I haven't heard either and also was worrying about it. Finger crossed here too!Hoping that not having heard from bates wells last week doesn’t mean it’s a rejection - my visa runs out in October so this cycle is my last shot! Fingers crossed for this week.
Thank you so much that’s very kind!Hoping you hear good news!!
I have a friend who applied and also hasn’t heard so maybe they just haven’t gotten around to us!If it helps I haven't heard either and also was worrying about it. Finger crossed here too!
It’s not ideal is it! I’m grateful I at least snagged a law job I love even if it can’t sponsor.Best of luck!
I’m on a visa too ( tho it expires in Jan 2028) so I understand the stress that comes with it. I hope you make it![]()
Oh I’ve decided to put myself first and I will be calling in sick tomorrow. My chest hurts too much, and I worked too hard this weekend and still have tests to do!!I am deceased, did Bates Wells Watson Glaser, then W&C app, SJT and WG this weekend and I work full time #rip me. Sending strength to everyone, January is giving death so far. Make sure you're all looking after yourselves xxxxxx![]()
Same, now that I've started hearing back, progress has slowed on my Covington and other Jan 31st deadline applicationsAnyone else suffering from major application fatigue rn. Trying to start this Lewis Silkin application but I am deaddddd and my brain is not working
Me working full time from 9 to 7 with several deadlines for 4 tests, 2 VI and 3 applications to submit before 16th. And getting ready for the graduation next week. I feel ya😭.I am deceased, did Bates Wells Watson Glaser, then W&C app, SJT and WG this weekend and I work full time #rip me. Sending strength to everyone, January is giving death so far. A really dumb question, I would like to know if people have progressed to next stages when they did video interview at night (with lights on). For some reasons I always think that it's unprofessional to do video interviews without natural day light, but I don't have any time when the natural day light is there![]()
Oh Donna this is very relatable. 💔Anyone else suffering from major application fatigue rn. Trying to start this Lewis Silkin application but I am deaddddd and my brain is not working
That’s where I’m at too. I figured that if I only get rejections next week then I’ll write more applications but if I get progressions then I’ll focus on them and maybe do DTC apps when I have more energy.Oh Donna this is very relatable. 💔
I’ve been brushing up on my firm research today and I’ve hit a wall… I honestly think if I hear back from anyone this week with good news. I may put the gloves down for everyone else, and just focus on them.
