I had such a relaxing weekend because I knew that hopefully I’m not going to get any emails from firms so I wasn’t anxious ( I haven’t applied to firms like a&o and slaughters who email on the weekend) hopefully, it’s only going to good news for everyone from tomorrow !

I have to say, a rather unconventional question ...

I said I was 'strikingly real' on account of having mediocre grades and no achievements of note. Still waiting to hear back.

Hi, anyone that has done the Clyde and Co 1st stage test - is the behavioural assessment (untimed) and critical reasoning (time monitored) both 45 mins each to complete? I have to do it by midnight and I want to know if I need to start now or later

I assumed they recommended 45 minutes to complete both (took me around 40) so wouldn't stress

Thanks for the reply bro. Oh so was the critical reasoning short then? And you did both together in 40 mins, not 40 mins for each one right? I just got off a flight and have insane brain fog

20 ques for critical reasoning - 4 ques per section.
For sjt - 4 blocks - one for each core value, each block had 3 ranking ques and around 10 slider ques.

SJT is untimed - take how much time u need.
Reasoning is not timed but time taken to complete it will affect your score. I took around 25 mins.

Sjt is really light and short so you’ll be fine dw, critical reasoning is also not too long but I usually get stressed doing it hahah

Hoping that not having heard from bates wells last week doesn’t mean it’s a rejection - my visa runs out in October so this cycle is my last shot! Fingers crossed for this week.

I sometimes feel like the process to get a TC is just one gigantic humiliation exercise. I bet GR/the training principles are like this when designing the process:

I’m on a visa too ( tho it expires in Jan 2028) so I understand the stress that comes with it. I hope you make it

@HauntingPiccolo personally, I don't think being off by a few weeks is a big enough deal to rescind any job offer, let alone a TC. I think I'm always off for mine, because truthfully, I don't know when I stopped flipping pancakes at selfridges, I just know it was before Christmas 2020.

So don't worry. As long as you get the company and job role correct, being off by a few weeks isn't really a concern. You are good. Congrats on the TC!

It’s not ideal is it! I’m grateful I at least snagged a law job I love even if it can’t sponsor.
