'No later than 6pm' is making me very uneasy, I'd rather they just say that they'll get back to us at the very start of Tuesday so I don't spend the whole day jumping at every notification...Anyone heard back from shoosmiths?

They say that every year tho 😭So far, every PFO has included the line "Record number of applications" and/or "unprecedented number of applicants"
I guess that's the sign of this cycle competitiveness...
Probably good news if you haven’t heard backAny of you applied to Ropes on the deadline? thanks!
Still waiting to hear back
It could, and seems likely to, be increasing every single year 🤷♂️They say that every year tho 😭
I agree, last year they said the same and got back with pfos around 4:30 and offers started going out at 6!'No later than 6pm' is making me very uneasy, I'd rather they just say that they'll get back to us at the very start of Tuesday so I don't spend the whole day jumping at every notification...
I agree, law is becoming what engineering and medicine used to be in terms of career aspirations.True. I also feel the job market being broken in general leads to more people (who often have strong university results) looking to change careers. Especially with people who did degrees in fields where jobs are scarce. The potential transition to law & salary is becoming more attractive as other jobs are becoming less attractive/attainable.
