True. I also feel the job market being broken in general leads to more people (who often have strong university results) looking to change careers. Especially with people who did degrees in fields where jobs are scarce. The potential transition to law & salary is becoming more attractive as other jobs are becoming less attractive/attainable.

'No later than 6pm' is making me very uneasy, I'd rather they just say that they'll get back to us at the very start of Tuesday so I don't spend the whole day jumping at every notification...

I agree, last year they said the same and got back with pfos around 4:30 and offers started going out at 6!

I agree, law is becoming what engineering and medicine used to be in terms of career aspirations.

Also not to completely invalidate the argument, but the want to work in a field at the intersection of law, commerce and technology cannot be ignored .
