As there have been a few changes since my last post for the league tables here’s an update:
1st place: Freshfields (49 days) RECORD HOLDER
2nd place: Sidley (48 days) CATCHING UP??!!
3rd place: Milbank (38 days) RUNNER UP??!!
4th place: Travers Smith (37 days) [PFO post app]
5th place: Covington (30 days) [PFO post app]
6th place: Ropes & Gray (27 days) [AC invite]
7th place: Orrick (14 days) [NEW ENTRY]
I wonder whose gna win the race between Sidley and Freshfields, almost at 50 days for both…
Then again, Orrick could easily catch up if they’re gna ghost me until the end of the year lmao.
I’m sure there are other firms I applied to which would probs rank high but I didn’t track them…

I think PFOs are usually by email, and acceptances/offers usually by phone and email (depending on the firm). But from what I've seen, phone is more common for communicating an offer.

I got post AC feedback where I was told that both the interviews went very well, but that one area to improve was making my answers less heavy and reducing use of buzzwords.
Kind of confused as to what that means exactly? The specific comments were that my answers came across slightly over rehearsed.

Is anyone else a bit concerned about how long stephenson harwood is taking? Spring vac scheme is in only 6 weeks and there's still the online test/VI to go...

Has anyone heard back post Sidley final partner interview for spring/summer?
Simmons PFO for London VS. Email stated they are at capacity for the scheme. Not sure why it wasn't sent with the batch earlier in the month.
I always forget how excruciating the post-AC wait is once you're past that 2-week mark. I just want any form of news 😩
