Hey guys, is it a bad sign if an interview lasts 50 minutes but they said it would last around an hour?
When I’ve interviewed people at my job, we’ve given them offers even if they didn’t use the whole interview time.

Usually doesn’t flag as an issue unless you went WAAAY under or over. So 10 minutes definitely wouldn’t flag as an issue.

Wdym by way over? Is that not a good thing?
Way over to me would be pushing 30 mins, and it depends on the situation. So if I’m conducting an interview with someone and they’ve somehow taken 1 hour 25 minutes for an interview which is meant to be an hour.

It raises the following questions: I either really like the person, their answers were long, or I had to ask a lot of follow-ups to get the answers I wanted.

So again, not always an automatic no, but just raises questions.

Agreed! I had 20 mins final interview when the initial schedule was 30 mins. I got the job and even the offer letter came later on the same day.
