does anyone know what the benchmark is for an amberjack assessment?

It can vary by firm and if I’m not mistaken diff firms may have their own preferences for different pillars. I’ve heard of some friends getting through with a 21 because they did well in the VI aspect.

Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience/know any trainees at Macfarlanes. Their websites states that they want trainees to study at BPP. However I am curious if this at a specific location or whether I can choose which BPP location to study at. Is this similar at other firms?

For Sidley I applied to all 3 VSs. I ranked Spring as 1st choice, Summer 1 as 2nd and Summer 2 as 3rd. I don’t even meet their A-level requirement so idk why it’s not an auto PFO they sent 5 PFO rounds alr and loads of TI/ACs went out since early FI​

I'm assuming they overlapped and this person couldn't do both. If you can then YES DO BOTH. Alternatively ask if there is wiggle room with dates

I also applied to SH last cycle and completed the Amberjack but I never heard back one way or the other so I'd also be interested to know what the threshold is for the SJT if anyone knows. Wonder whether my performance was so bad it didn't even warrant a response!
