Did anyone get an assessment / response from Dechert? If so, when did you submit the online application form may I ask?

I applied on Sep 1 and got the assessment on Sep 15

Finally got the rare contextual from DLA despite applying on the first day. I believe they’re being more strict in slowly screening this year, haven’t even received a test.

Hellooo!! Ultimately it depends on where you want to be long-term.

If you want to train and build your career in the UK, I'd focus on London. Just check each firm's visa sponsorship policy before applying, as not all firms sponsor trainees.

If you'd rather train and build your career in the Middle East, it's still worth looking at London firms. Several have Middle East offices and offer seats or programmes aimed at people with links to the region, so you could get a London training with a route back home. (I think Clifford Chance, Linklaters, Clyde & Co, Freshfields, White & Case are some firms which do this)

Cleary WG for WVS. Is it automatic as I even though I got a 1st at uni I got BBB at A level and I know they are very strict on grades?
