@Jessica Booker can I take about position of responsibility and achievement in this question "Please tell us about your extracurricular activities and any positions of responsibility you've held as part of these"?

It will be two weeks tomorrow...when did you submit yours? Hopefully we hear back soon!
hey , I haven’t heard back from those two either. Am I correct in thinking those two take applications on a rolling basis?
Slaughter and baker not open to graduates tho! But thank you so muchJust a heads up that Freshfields, Baker McKenzie, Hogan Lovells and Weil and Slaughter and May are open for direct TCs!

Final year law and non law students and graduates are eligible to apply for this vacancy.
The Training Contract is open to penultimate year students. Please confirm that you are a penultimate year student.*

ohh that is confusing, I just went by what the application said. Maybe worth emailing to clarify?View attachment 1829
Really confusing. If you take a look at the attached pic, it seems to only be open to penultimate and not graduates/final year law.
Also, why would they ask you to confirm that you’re a penultimate student if it’s open for graduates as well?
Very confusing...

Every recruiter is different, but if it makes you feel any better, my friend got 47% (misinterpreted the Q) in one of her second year essays and still secured a pupilage (she even joked about it in her interview). She worked hard on pulling the rest of her application up and it worked. Hope this helps but as I say, that's just one recruiter's takeJust got a high 2:2 for one essay module! I also have a 63 in my another essay module done earlier this year. Will this be an issue for firms? I got 70% last year(first year) with one 2:2 and had interviews for vac schemes, though the results mentioned are my second year grades (so far)![]()

Thank you for the reassurance!. As you worked at Freshfields before, would this be too problematic for applications to them regarding a singular 2;2? Thanks Jessica! One module per year is unlikely to be a problem for the vast majority of firms
