Hahaha for anyone who’s done the Gowling test already (or the PwC one tbh), did you unlock the lock
I didn't have to complete the test ( I am at the next stage PwC for context) but they told me at an event DO NOT spend forever on it. Spend some time, but some people apparently spend all day. It is meant to be almost impossible.

It's divided into 9 parts. Each can essentially be completed independently. The first 8 are not timed. The last one is.

Edit: To anybody that has also completed it, did you receive a confirmation email confirming that you have finished it? I get nervous whenever I am denied my right to a confirmation email

Hi, hoping the test went well for you! Is the test similar to a situational judgement test? I think I’m slightly confused as to the nature of this test

This is reassuring! I did the pwc test a month ago so already knew what was coming with the lock. I almost feel bad skipping it after a while but then I guess it relates back to being realistic with completing tasks in the workplace and time management!

Did the PwC have a numerical section at the end for the legal VS? I remember doing it in 2019 and it did but I haven't completed it yet for this cycle!
Hmm I don’t remember a numerical section at the end, but I did do it over a month ago so maybe I’ve forgotten sorry

Exactly so - dont feel guilty about being realistic about something impossible.

For people getting responses for NRF, is this for spring vac scheme and first year scheme students who were fast-tracked?
Some people applied for spring when they were assessing winter applications like in early October, so they were probably assessed at the same time and got an earlier response. I haven’t seen anyone who applied November onwards get a reply from NRF for spring but please correct me if I’m wrong

Don't know about Spring (but guessing it's reasonable timing for someone to have heard back now) but for summer app, it only opened 16th Nov I think. So, I don't think anyone would have heard by now for the summer VS.
