Mishcon chat interview has absolutely destroyed me wtf was that
Ikr, pretty ridiculous to make candidates sit for two hours and do that only to scrap them with ambjerjack/cappfinity later
I need to do mine either today or tomorrow. I hate VIs, dreading it...It's two separate sections, independent of each other, so you could take them at different times.
I’m also going on Thursday and haven’t gotten a schedule or follow up confirmation. It might be a good idea for us to email them if we hear nothing by the end of the day. Tbf though Reed Smith emailed about their schedule like 2 days before the open day took place.

Hi, thank you! I applied for the vac scheme last year and was successful, but their process is a bit different. While other firms offer exit interviews straight after the vac scheme, Perkins said ours would be 1 or 2 years later. So if you did the vac scheme in your second year, you’d do it in your final year; if you did it in your first year, you’d also do it in your final year (like me). That was the only possible route to the LBA programme at the time (in 2024), so there wasn’t a direct LBA application available.
It’s only recently (so this year) that they opened both LBA and VS applications, which I think has now closed, so you’d likely need to wait until next year when applications open again. That can actually be a positive, because it gives you more time to learn about the merger (if it goes through) and prepare a strong application. In terms of dates, they typically recruit sometime in the summer (around June-ish I think).
