great question! the later the invite is it the more you go down the list?

Is preference given to RG students. Can we get some sort of feedback after it as this is a pretty far stage to get to to not get any feedback at all. It is also torture getting a rejection on a Friday let alone at 5:30pm!

How many got to WE? How many original slots did you have for interviews?

Yes, everyone that scored the highest marks gets invited first, and then we go down the list as slots fill.

As you'll be aware, all our Written Exercises are blind marked so we have no idea which university applicants went to when inviting people to interview. We base that decision purely on the scores. Similarly, our partners do not have that information when they interview their assigned applicants. We do not provide feedback for those rejected at Written Exercise stage as there's one one person in Graduate Recruitment here at Willkie, so it would just not be possible in terms of the amount of time that would take. However, those that do not progress following the partner interview stage do all receive feedback.

We have around 55-60 places for partner interview.

Will outcomes post interview be communicated all at once or on a rolling basis? I.e. can people who interview earlier expect to hear back sooner

That's great to hear!

The interviews are due to take place over the course of the next two weeks. We will get back to people within 15 working days of their interview (although note we plan to let the majority of people know at the same time whether they're being offered a place on our vacation scheme or not).

Hi @startupgeek

If you have been waitlisted that means you just missed our cut off mark in terms of your Written Exercise score. We are holding those people who just missed our pass mark so that, should a number of people turn down or pull out of the partner interview process (which we do see happen due to them accepting vacation schemes with other firms), we can open up those spaces to people on the waitlist.

Unfortunately I don't have the data on how many people were moved from the waitlist to partner interview in previous cycles.

I don't believe so - we had planned to make most people aware of the outcome of the partner interviews today.
