The rank order questions seemed OK. I never know with sliding questions. How far should you slide idk? Went as well as I expected. Reasoning questions were a mixed bag. Never passed a Cappfinity test before. Not hopeful about this one either.
I'd say focus on their values. There's not much else to do. There was a good video once. It was top 10 trainee skills. Paul Gascoyne made it, IIRC. I don't know where it's gone.
This video could be helpful though.
I do think being consistent helps. Especially on those sliding answer questions.
Sorry to hear about your difficulties. Not a law graduate but still. It's been a tough few months. Go follow Kate Green on LinkedIn. She could help with paralegal jobs.
Running out of patience quite possibly. Also running out of firms lol. Hopefully HL has some positive news.
It might be worth telling them. Both stages are interviews I believe. Easier to do those online right? Well, easier for some I guess. See what they say about it.
Ashurst sending out Cappfinity test tomorrow. Any advice for passing that test? Not one I've passed to date. So any advice would be great. Good luck to others taking it.
AC invite - that's really fantastic news. You could try explaining to them. I'm sure it happens quite often. Still, @Jessica Booker might know more. Good to see K&S making decisions. What're their dates out of interest?
Anything today from Hogan Lovells post-WG? It's been almost six weeks now! Anyone asked for their scores yet? I'm not going to ask them. I got 77% in 2020 (rejected). Not sure if that was enough! Still, passed WG for CC recently. Don't know if it's same benchmark. Or if HL have a benchmark.
