I trailed off in the middle of two answers, even ending one with “so, yeah ...” + 10 seconds of dead silence, and I got through.
If there’s one sure thing, it’s that this recruitment process makes no sense. It’s not a rejection until you get the email.
No, thank goodness. It’s now 4 questions at 300 words each. I just have been writing and rewriting it for about 4 weeks so let’s just say I’m very invested. 😬
It’s the sort of thing a well meaning person might think ensures a level playing field but is actually kind of insulting. (Not because I think I’m better than other disabled people but because we should be judged with our cohort, imo.)
I mean, we’re probably barking up the wrong tree. All this...
Yup. I feel like I’m back here every two weeks asking the same questions but the wait is soul destroying!
thank you so much! This is super encouraging.
Simmons is odder still because they’ve confirmed I’ve got through to AC stage but haven’t scheduled me for one, although I do know that they...

Edited to add: I have also...

Yeah, I feel this. I got to AC last year with two big firms and I don’t know how. I love the firms but it very much felt like fluke. This year, lockdown has meant I have attended so many events, really learned more about firms and commercial law, and I’m not getting anywhere. I don’t know how to...

It seems no one has heard so I think (hope!) that they’ve just underestimated how long they’ll need to get through applications. Plus they’ve said telephone interviews in April so there’s plenty of time!
