Yeah I imagine it’s also because a lot of Easter vac schemes were postponed. Usually more people probably reject the VI because they’ve accepted a TC from another firm from Easter vac schemes.
I don’t think so- I was one of the first to get a VI in late March and I haven’t heard anything. The email said we’d hear back ‘no later than May 4th’ so presumably we’ll hear back then.

Really helpful table! It’s important to note that some of these aren’t open to non law students I.e Slaughter and May and Freshfields. Not sure if any others are but thought it was worth a mention
I initially applied to the vac scheme in late December but later requested to change to TC. Got WG late feb and VI last week. They did say all candidates will find out if they’re successful on VI by May 4th so presumably you’ll hear back before then!
