According to the SRA the pass rate for the first sitting of the SQE1 was 53%, so quite low, but there is no published breakdown of the results per course provider yet I think. BPP said 14 of their 17 students who sat it passed. I’m not sure as for the rest.- TC fiend

Books for insight into being a solicitor/corporate law
No problem! Buying a lot of books can get expensive- i would highly recommend checking Amazon’s secondhand section or World of Books, which is where I get a lot of my books for very cheap. Facebook marketplace or student pages are also very good :)- TC fiend

Help buying/choosing professional clothing (especially for women)
If you’re talking a bag with an MK tag on it that’s fine, if it’s a bag with GUCCI printed very largely down the side I’d probably refrain. There’s nothing necessarily wrong with it but it might look a bit over the top for a vacation scheme.- TC fiend
