Yes - you can either include this in your work experience section if you can add future dates, but with little to no description in the entry, or add it to a motivational question or an extra information section to show you have the opportunity coming up later in the year.
Ahhh even more so the case of it being curiosity then if it was a CV/application blind process (although shows the flaws of such blind processes at the same time).
Yes - although I’d wait until your vacation scheme to ask for this and you can ask graduated recruitment directly while on the scheme. Again, they may not provide it - but there is no harm in asking.
It’s very normal in the same way I often look at people’s LinkedIn profiles when I connect with them. I don’t think you can take it as any sign though unfortunately. It could just be curiosity.
Yes - you can request this. Some firms might not provide it or may not have much feedback to give you given that you have done well in the assessment, but there is absolutely no harm in asking whether they can.
It is not necessarily a bad sign.
The two week period would have only been until yesterday, so I would wait until the end of this week and follow up on Friday if you haven’t heard back by then.
The firm can't really put a value on how your illness would have impacted you - they can only really go by the evidence that they see on the day, so its not like they can compensate your performance for it.
You can mention it to HR/Graduate Recruitment but I think it would only help if it came...
Once you secure an AC, what you have done or haven't done with the firm doesn't really matter - you have got to the AC based on your application and experience whatever that may be.
Highly unlikely - the most negative outcome is most likely to be that they don’t offer you an extension of the offer period and therefore you have to make a decision within the time limit.
No. That’s not an issue to ask when you may hear back given it’s been nearly a couple of weeks (unless the firm has told you it would be a longer period for you to hear back).
Leadership references are fine for team working examples. I would just recommend being specific. For instance, how specifically did you encourage team members to work together, how did the team respond.
There doesn’t need to be a challenge as such but I do think you need to show the following:
- the team’s achievement/success
- what made the team work well together (even if that wasn’t from the start, what changed to make it successful)
- your individual contribution to that team’s achievement...
I think it is fine to say that if you are having the conversation with them before you interview with the second firm. My concern would be if you do this after the interview, as you are effectively wasting their time with the interview if there is no chance of you accepting their offer.
They won’t see it as bad as such. It’s really just going to depend on how the firm deals with such requests.
Some may not be generous in offering a direct TC process because you are choosing another firm over them. Reality is they know they have a much slimmer chance of you accepting a TC with...
This is really not an issue. Sometimes throwing a matter/deal/case in for the matter for the sake of it doesn’t work very well. It’s only if it is suitable for the question that you should include one, and it sounds like in this instance you weren’t asked something that would constitute using one.
You can accept the TC and just wait to hear back as to whether you have been successful from the VS firm. If you have been successful, you can then try to negotiate a direct TC process with the VS firm.
