    Ask A Graduate Recruiter Anything!

I thought as much but I just have a creeping sense of doubt. Not sure whether to just take the test now just in case.

    Ask A Graduate Recruiter Anything!

Hey This has probably been asked before so apologies in advance, but I am questioning a deadline on an online test. "Please complete this assessment as soon as possible; the deadline is 12th November 2019. Please note if you cannot complete the test by this date, unfortunately we will not be...

    Ask A Graduate Recruiter Anything!

Hi Jessica As a bit of background, I have a 2:1 but poor BTEC results (merit, pass, pass) equivalent to C,E,E. I have good work experience (I am a career changer) and I was able to pass the application stage for 3/5 top 40 firms in the last round despite not meeting the A-level criteria, making...

    Open day application

Hi all I always get a bit thrown off when asked "Why do you want to attend an open day with X firm?" I have only applied for two open days in my time, the first I was rejected from and the second I am waiting to hear back. I want to make sure I am approaching this question in the right way...

    DWF VI

Congratulations! From my limited experience I would say that practicing is really important. I found from my video interview for another firm that a lot of the answers to the questions were things I had already written about in the application form. Knowing why you want to apply to that firm...

Hearing Back from Law Firms, Assessment Centres & Interview Tips - 2019 - 2020

I completely agree. I didn't apply for a TC in 2012, I do sometimes wonder what response I would have had! Well done you! Good luck with the outcome for the ACs!! :)

Hearing Back from Law Firms, Assessment Centres & Interview Tips - 2019 - 2020

What a coincidence! That's fantastic work experience. I think without solid work experience we might have struggled but we should be fine now if we market ourselves well! Good luck!

Hearing Back from Law Firms, Assessment Centres & Interview Tips - 2019 - 2020

Thank you for the kind words! I began looking for firms without A-level requirements, but I found myself looking at firms that I did not have an interest in just because they might consider me. I applied to two firms without A-level requirements because I have a genuine desire to work at both...

Hearing Back from Law Firms, Assessment Centres & Interview Tips - 2019 - 2020

I have just received an invitation to complete a Watson-Glaser from one of my top firms. I am so happy to have passed the application stage on two of my six TC apps so far! I have the equivalent of C, E, E at A-level so I was worried that I was deluded in my quest to train at a city firm. Yay!
