I don't know if it's worth noting "negative updates", but, FF confirmed today (email) they have no plans at this stage to cancel their Summer VS (/cheer!).- D

Just remember - you don't want to give the impression to the second firm that they are your second choice. By saying that you can only do a week because of another firm... indicates that heavily (in my view). This is why you want to phrase it differently. Say they got back to you after the first...- D

Two choices: 1. See if one firm has alternative dates for the VS. They may be able to move you to an alternative scheme (I did this with FF). 2. Pick the firm you want to do the VS at (your #1 firm choice) and then look to leverage the second firm into a TC. They will either say yes, and you...- D

No, not at all. I think you'll find in the interview it just gives you an opportunity to expand a little without the constraint of a word limit. If the process is CV blind, it is essential that you go back to the very basics and expand. if they have your application in front of you, I'd rattle...- D

There are more than enough resources on this website. Please read the forum, you will see commercial awareness guides, podcast lists, application advice... the only additional things you need to do are to attend open days to get a feel for the firm.- D

Your grades do not define your application. If you meet the minimum criteria, you can apply. Are some firms pickier about grades than others? Yes, for sure. I would stay away from those. Your application will be reviewed holistically. I can say as someone who doesn't have great first-year...- D

If a firm requires AAB (or whatever) at A-Level, you pretty much have to have those grades unless you have mitigating circumstances. University modules are firm dependant. There are some firms that place a significant amount of weight on them. Others are less interested. If it helps, my...- D

ASSESSMENT CENTER PROCEDURE FOR INTERNATIONAL VAC SCHEMERS
That is correct. You would need to apply direct. They cover the cost of you attending an AC up to £300, with anything over and above that requiring additional authorisation.- D
