    turning down a regional TC?

    If you were to receive an offer from the regional how about asking whether they would be prepared to defer it for a year so that it gives you another year to make further applications to London. Obviously you would not say that's why.

    I wouldn't have thought so if closing is only 4 weeks or so away. They are new offices so I guess they are recruiting to fill the need for trainees ASAP because for their other offices its usually via vac scheme 2 years ahead like other firms tend to do.

    Birketts has opened new offices in Bristol and Sevenoaks. They are recruiting trainees to start in September 2025 in Bristol if you have self funded SQE. And also 2026 for both new offices. Deadline early July. Saw it online earlier for anyone interested.

    Lots of vac schemes are in June though so if people are on vac schemes and get a definite TC offer they may withdraw from the Shoosmiths' process bearing in mind this AC is in July with potential decisions not being through until end of July/August. Hang on on there.
