That's a good question. Personally, I prefer to stay focused on the question asked. I feel if the firm wanted you to discuss your traits, they would have added it to the question. That said, I read many answers where candidates do add their own experiences, and I doubt there's harm in doing so...- Jaysen

Commercial Awareness ... where do I start
I think it's very overwhelming when you get started. It's hard to see how learning about a particular story is going to develop your commercial awareness. I take the change in phrasing of this question to mean: - BM wants candidates to be more personal in their reasoning - BM wants candidates to be thinking more deeply about what makes the firm different to other firms I don't think you need to explicitly specify how BM differs from competitors...- Jaysen
